Medical Monitors

ProScreen supplies medical-grade monitors for radiology, mammography and clinical review to hospitals, diagnostic centres and imaging departments across India. We DICOM-calibrate every medical monitor in our range, so each display shows grayscale and colour images consistently and radiologists and clinicians can read fine detail with confidence.

From 1MP Clinical Review to 12MP Mammography Displays
Our medical displays range from 1MP and 2MP clinical review monitors to 5.8MP and 12MP diagnostic systems such as the Barco Nio Fusion and Coronis Uniti. Diagnostic models hold their brightness steady over years of use and reveal subtle findings that ordinary office monitors can miss.

Calibration, QA and Local Support
You can connect every medical monitor we supply to MediCal QAWeb, Barco’s automated quality-assurance software. It runs calibration and DICOM conformance checks automatically and keeps reports ready for audits. Our engineers handle installation, [calibration services] and after-sales support.

Frequently Asked Questions

A medical monitor is calibrated to the DICOM Part 14 standard and holds its brightness and grayscale accuracy steady for years. A commercial monitor isn’t built for either, so subtle details can look different from one screen to the next.

DICOM Part 14 defines how grayscale levels must be shown on screen, so an image looks the same on every calibrated display. Without it, a faint finding visible on one screen could be missed on another.

Use 1–2MP for clinical review, 5.8MP for CT, MR and X-ray diagnosis, and 12MP for mammography or multimodality reading. See the resolution guide above.

Not usually. Barco diagnostic monitors have built-in sensors, and MediCal QAWeb can run calibration and DICOM checks automatically and keep reports for audits.

Price depends on resolution, colour or grayscale, screen size and QA software. Clinical review monitors cost far less than 5.8MP or 12MP diagnostic displays. [Request a quote] for current pricing.
